One in 10 of us is said to be anxious of The Ancient Mayans prediction that this doomsday on 21st December marks the end of the world. The “Long Count” cycle of the Mayan calendar began in 3114 BCE and is widely accepted to end on 21/12/12 CE.

Prince William and Kate announced a great surprise with some baby news!

Yes, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton pregnant to have a child soon. It was said that Will and Kate wanted to keep the baby news a surprise till Christmas day, but when Kate was admitted into hospital with acute morning sickness, they had to share the news. The Young Apprentice 2012 series has been showing in the UK for around 5 weeks now and so far I have found it very interesting. I feel that in a way there is so much you can learn from watching such a show and especially because I am a business minded person it’s amazing to see what 17 or 18 year olds can achieve in today’s time. Of course there are times when you shout at the television telling them that won’t work or think to yourself remember to check x, y, z.

Tukido is a self defence martial art which I have recently taken on. I guess it was a skill I have always wanted to learn, you know like when you watch a film with some super cool moves? Some of my inspiration has come from watching Liam Neeson in Taken and Taken 2, as well as Jackie Chan but I was very inspired by women with slick moves like Lucy Liu and Angelina Jolie in Mr and Mrs Smith. George Square Christmas Lights 2012 went alight on Thursday 15th November 2012 with the event kicking off at 6pm. This is an annual event which takes place in Glasgow to celebrate the beginning of the festive season.
