Do you think people will run away with your money, is this a scam? So the way to overcome this would be to check out the persons’ testimonials. It’s only natural if you’ve never made money online before then you will probably will think it’s an online business scam.

Check out how long the business has been online and active. Does the person contacting you have any websites or blogs that you can check out?

Can you see any pictures or videos of this person to determine whether it is an online business scam or not. Pictures can be fake, so watch out for these but it’s harder to get fake videos so chances are that they are probably genuine.

It could be that you’re afraid, if you are afraid then maybe it’s not for you. Remember that you must feel comfortable when working with someone online otherwise it’s not a good business relationship.

Today I will be covering another dilemma that online marketers or people starting in this industry may have to face at some point. I come across so many marketers saying the same thing to me, I have a failed online business and don’t know where I am going wrong.

Recently Facebook is fully supporting custom iFrame tabs and phasing out FBML and the Static FBML support, many page admins and marketers supporting facebook media marketing are wondering how best to add functionality to their iFrame tabs. This iframe code for facebook pages is a new feature which replaces the old facebook fbml code version. For example, how do you add popular FBML tags that allow interaction on Facebook, such as Reveal/Fan-Gating, Multi-Friend Invite, Share button, Like button and Comments.

Facebook Social Plugins to the Rescue!

Fortunately, there is an alternative intended for use on websites to integrate them into Facebook’s “social graph” also work great on iFrame tabs.

Now Facebook page admins can simply add a free iFrame tab application to their page, which makes adding a fan-gating feature very easy, and they can add features like ‘Like’ buttons, Send buttons and/or Comments boxes to their tabs.
Here, I’ll explain how to add these three social plugins to your custom iFrame tab.

Generating the XFBML Tag code — Facebook does it for you!

You can now get the code for the social plugins on Facebook’s Social Plugins page. Just navigate to the tag you want, enter the options on that tag’s page, and then click “Get Code.”

If you’re generating the’ Like button’ without the Send button, make sure you copy the XFBML version of the code (NOT the “iframe” version — it won’t work) to your clipboard.

#1: The Like button: From your tab to users’ news feeds

The most popular of the social plugins is the ‘like’ button. You can have as many Like buttons on an iFrame tab as you want. For each Like button, you can specify a target URL, which can be a Facebook fan page or any other URL on the web. However, you cannot link to a specific fan page tab, only to the fan page itself.

If the target URL is an external website, the wall post will use an image and content specified in that website’s “meta” tags if they’re specified in the code of the target URL. If they aren’t specified, Facebook will grab a random image on the page, as well as random text.

#2: The Send button: Direct sharing/messaging

The Send button alone, or paired with the Like button

There are two ways to implement the Send button: 1) paired with the Like button  or 2) stand-alone. Use the Like button code generator to create a Like/Send combination by checking the “Send button” option in the code generator:

The Send button replaces “Share with Friends” and the FBML multi-friend selector

Back in the old days (before this new code), pages could incorporate the FBML tag “fb:multi-friend-selector,” which displayed pictures of your friends to click to select for the message:

And in the old style there was the “suggest to friends” text link near the top of the right column that popped a similar dialog box. It’s still there, and you can select friends and click “send recommendations” … but the message never arrives.

The Send button now brings this feature back to Facebook pages, but much improved.

Sending Direct messaging to Facebook friends, groups and email addresses

When a user clicks the Send button, a dialog pops up where users can enter their friends’ names, Facebook groups or simply email addresses, and whatever message they send, plus the specified target URL.

• If sent to friends, they receive a Facebook message that includes your comments, the image associated with the URL and description (derived as described above for the Like button).
• If sent to a Facebook group, the message appears on the group’s wall.
• If sent to an email address, the recipients receive an email with the subject line “conversation with [your name]“, your added message and the URL.

#3: The Comments box: Improved

Facebook’s comments box social plugin allows you to add a Comments box similar to the old FBML fb:comments tag, but much better, as it allows threaded discussions, and more closely replicates the wall.

Unique from the Like and Send buttons, you can specify a Facebook tab URL for each Comments box you create.

When you generate the code on the Comments box social plugins page, you don’t need to have “http://www.” in the URL field. Facebook will fill that in:

There are a number of new and improved features when using this plugin on an external website, but these don’t seem to be available when the Comments box is on an iFrame tab.

Firstly visit http://www.Facebook.com/username this is the page where you want to select the profile, fan page, or group that you’re trying to change and get a custom URL to. use the drop-down menu to select your profile, fan page, or Facebook group. once you select the page a new text box will appear asking you to enter your desired username.

note: if you do not have 25 fans yet on a page, then this cannot change. (If this is the case see bottom of this page)

Give it some thought and choose something short and relevant to your page. Once this is determined it cannot be changed!!!

We need to realize is your Facebook username is one of the most important factors to getting your page, profile, or Facebook group ranked in both Google and Facebook search. you want to make sure that your username is both short and descriptive and includes keywords that users might be using to find pages like yours.

You can choose either to eliminate spaces between words or use dashes in between each word separate them. While it may be easier for search engine’s to pickup each individual word if you’re using a – between words, eliminating the dash can give you an easier Facebook URL to distribute to your customers.

If you come to the Facebook username webpage and select your profile, Facebook fan page, or Facebook group and you don’t see the option to enter in a custom username is most likely because you do not have the minimum number of fans to create a custom username. You need at least 25 fans to create a custom user name or URL. There are some pretty easy ways to get 25 fans including inviting your current friends to come support your page.

How to Get 25 Fan to your Facebook Fan Page Instantly

Underneath your Facebook fan page profile picture there is a button labeled “suggest to friends.” you can use this button to invite your friends to come support and like your fan page. This is the easiest way to get the minimum number of fans, 25, two like your fan page enabling you to create a custom Facebook URL.

Now that you have the  25 fans that you need head back to Facebook and create your custom URL. After creating your custom URL you can now use this web address to hand out to your customers, prospects, e-mail list, and website visitors so that they can easily find your Facebook page and spread the word.
