Many times I have had people wanting to start up a home based business with myself but they are concerned if too many marketers are promoting the same product the market may decline.
However with my primary business we have over 2000 niche products and that means the products are very specific. We won’t have ebooks on training a dog, it’ll be how to train a specific breed of dogs or using certain methods. This means a very narrow and targeted market will be marketed to which will always be there because a small number of people have a very specific interest.
To me it is determined that not everyone will be promoting that specific product and even if they are not everyone will be using the same marketing strategies. So although everyone will be selling the exact same product (which is highly unlikely) they may be selling the product to a different market. If I am promoting it online someone else may be promoting to family/friends or offline. Therefore I don’t see there being a saturated market in this business.
We also have to remember that all these over 2000 products which we have access to we also gain private label and resale rights to. Therefore some people sell a slightly different product compared to their associate in the same business.
By having these rights we can alter and change various information in the products and even add to them. This will be offering a different product compared to the bare product everyone receives when they buy into the business.
It could be that customers no longer need those products for whatever reason and this is countered by all our products being future proof. Meaning they will always be up to date and even though time may go on the information will not be dated.
If you’re already part of an Internet business and you’re seeing your market move towards saturation you may be wise to consider selecting a smaller niche within your market. By doing this, you can narrow down a specific hungry niche within your current market and concentrate your energy on it. If all niches within your market are well-served you may wish to target another niche, perhaps related to your current market but less served.
